Why "bps and pieces"?
Besides being a play on words, the name carries special meaning to the blog’s mission of leveraging incremental insights to compound knowledge exponentially over time. The term “bps” (pronounced “bips”) is finance shorthand for basis points. A basis point represents one one-hundredth of a percent (0.01%). While it may seem like an insignificant measurement on the surface, every little “bp” matters in all facets of growth in our personal and professional lives - our portfolios, our relationships, our networks, and our accumulated wisdom.
