Behind the Markets, Part Deux
This past week, I made my second appearance on the Wharton Business Radio podcast Behind the Markets, hosted by Jeremy Schwartz. For those who don't know, Jeremy is the (recently promoted) Global Chief Investment Officer for WisdomTree Asset Management and one of the sharpest investment minds I know.
My first appearance on Behind the Markets took place in January 2019. Not much has changed since then 😳
While we didn't get to record in person like last time, we still had a lot of fun. I was of course on to literally talk my book, The Allocator's Edge. And Jeremy coincidentally had an announcement of his own that day - WisdomTree recently partnered with the folks at Ritholtz Wealth Management to develop a crypto index.
Naturally, we were not short on topics to cover and given the intersection of our two announcements we spent a fair amount of time discussing alternative investments. Specifically, we covered:
- Alternative sources of income in a low yield world
- The unique diversification properties of catastrophe bonds
- Crypto and wealth management
- The concept of "return stacking"
- and much more!
I'll look forward to coming back on again one day for my three-peat appearance. In the meantime, please enjoy the full episode, linked below:
